Asake reacts after alleged father cries out for financial help.

The Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, who is known by the stage name, Asake has reacted after a man who claimed to be his father alleged accused him of neglect.

In a video, a man who is identified as Fatai Odunsi has tearfully asked Nigerians for financial assistance after battling a stroke.

While expressing his feelings in the video, he had stated that Asake abandoned him after his sickness began. He also reinforced that by noting that on March 2022 was the last time he set his eyes on Asake.

In his statement where he asked Nigerians for help to be able to get his treatment, Odunsi said, “Good day everyone, I’m the one that gave birth to Ahmed Asake the singer.

“The last time I set my eyes on him was March 2022 when my sickness started. If I called Asake, he won’t pick. Please help me, it is your help that I need.”

The video has gone viral and the singer has taken to his social media to address this claim using a song.


The singer, who left his record label, Olamide’s YBNL record label claimed his father was looking for a way to manipulate him despite being generous to him.


In Yoruba language, the singer used a song to express “You can’t please the world. Whatever you do, do it for God and always remember the day you’ll die and meet your God. My people, can you see? Even my father wants to cajole me. I used to press money for him and I do it with one mind. No one can quench my fire. God is the one that is taking me ahead in life.”


After this reaction, there has being a mixed reactions flooding the social media space as fans and social media users wonder what could have gone wrong between this two, and argues if Asake response is worth it for a man that claims to be his father.
