Charity Omole Ilese, who is the chairperson of the Kogi Central Women Development Association, has, in a recent interview, made commentary on the take of the Kogi Central Women Development Association in the recall of the Distinguished Senator Natasha Akpoti U.
She made commentary as to the senator not having her people in mind before taking certain actions, which, according to her, were the Senator's own personal issues that had nothing to do with the state.
A Senator, according to her, should know that she is there to represent her people and should try all in her power to detach sentiments from politics.
She made a bold claim that the Kogi Central people had waited patiently for weeks without getting to see any evidence of the sexual harassment claims from the Senator.
She said in her words that Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan is well past forty and should no longer be considered a child as she's supposed to handle the case of sexual harassment according to her "in a more mature way"
Charity Omole, in her words, made a statement of Natasha being unable to give evidence to her claim, leaving the people of Kogi Central with no other alternatives than to do the needful and conduct a recall.
She also made a bold and rather uncalled statement that the Senator not being ready to apologize to the Senate House as a good female politician should be the problem she was facing today.
Charity Omole Ilese has made it clear as the chairperson of the Kogi Central Women Development Association that this organization is in full support of the recalling of the Senator.
