Kogi Central Women group supports Natasha Akpoti's recall from Senate
A Kogi Central Women group, in a meeting headed on Thursday at Lokoja, has made a move in support of the suspension of the Senate president and also supported her recall from the Senate.
They mentioned that the good people of Kogi Central senatorial district cannot afford to stay absent from the Senate house for six months which is approximately a full legislative year.
They had blamed Senator Natasha Akpoti for bringing such a mishap upon her constituency by putting her selfish interest before that of the people she was representing.
In their words, she is supposed to come to the people who elected her and give a formal explanation of what she was going through in the Senate house before taking matters into her own hands.
They have promised to mobilize other groups in the state to join in the recall process, to save Kogi Central the pain of staying for so long without a legal representative.
