Why I was suspended _ Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan
Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan in a recent interview has made a bold claim about her suspension not being related to any gross misconduct as stated by the Senate house but because of the petition she had submitted a day before her suspension from the Senate.
Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan mentioned how she has been enduring a lot from the Senate President even before the sitting arrangement issue came up.
She said that her suspension was as a result of her standing up against the Senate President and not for any misconduct whatsoever.
"I have seen made argue, insult and even throw things at each other in the Senate house because of issues including sitting arrangement and they were never suspended, so why was I suspended? Because I'm a woman?"
She has maintained that she refuses to be silenced and will continue to speak up as being a woman doesn't make her less of a human.
